WED staff and contractors pledge to monitor content on our web site and on-line services and ensure they meet the requirements of CIPA.
Special features to protect the personal information of minors.
a. Two features within our system may be used by minors, but only as test-takers or survey responders: our student testing module and general survey module. Both of these systems may be set up so that student access is anonymous or via non-personally-identifiable means (for instance, instead of logging in with a student's e-mail address or name, users can set up student log ins via student ID or another code).
b. In cases where organization's use our on-line systems and require transfer or import of large sets of student data into our system, we can aid in the import process to ensure that no personally identifiable information is transferred. Further, in certain situations, WED may assist in the development and documentation of a data privacy and security plan.
Links to external websites may be provided as research and learning tools. These sites are maintained by their individual hosts; and WED will notify users if they are to leave its site and application to navigate to an outside site. WED has no responsibility for the content of these sites and does not endorse ideas which may be presented there or any products or services which may be advertised there. Visitors should consult the other sites' privacy policies as we have no control over information that is submitted to, or collected by, these third parties.
WED does not post advertising on its on-line systems.
WED recognizes the privacy concerns of users and visitors to our web-based systems and the importance of protecting the privacy of personally identifiable information. As a general policy:
